    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - 
    Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said on Tuesday that the government would implement legal procedures against the governor of Kirkuk, Necmettin Karim, while stressing that the fight against corruption is no less serious than anti-terrorism. 
    "The government will work to implement all legal procedures against the governor of Kirkuk, Najmuddin Karim," Abdulmahdi told a weekly news conference. He called on the media and political leaders to "provide evidence of any suspicion of corruption." 
    He added that "the government is ready to provide any personality to the judiciary provided there is evidence of corruption," stressing that "fighting corruption is no less serious and important than the fight against terrorism." 
    He pointed out that "the government needs to provide sufficient evidence to establish any suspicion of corruption," noting that "all what is raised about corruption without evidence is useless."
    On the positions of proxy, said Abdul-Mahdi, "The government is continuing to reduce positions in agencies through the stabilization or reduce increases," explaining that "large blocks authorized the prime minister to resolve the portfolio of positions by proxy." 
    The Prime Minister, "the completion of the ministerial platform," pointing out that "the government will send a report to the House of Representatives on this." 
    He pointed out that "the ministerial platform is held between the government and the people," stressing that "the government is keen to accomplish it accurately." 
    As for the completion of the ministerial cabin, Abdul-Mahdi said, "The political forces will not be able to submit candidates to the remaining ministries and we will do so." 
    And the direction of the parliamentary bloc of wisdom to the opposition and the support of other blocks for that, the Prime Minister, said that "the political opposition is healthy condition of its commitment to national constants." 
    Abdul Mahdi said,
    "The government has made significant progress in the field of electricity production," he said, referring to "an imminent rise in the rate of energy production by a thousand megawatts before the end of June." 
    He pointed out that "many excesses on the energy network contribute to the loss of electricity," noting that "meeting with conservatives concluded to provide better services and the provision of electricity according to a timetable." 
    On Tuesday, the Cabinet holds a regular session, chaired by its chairman, Adel Abdul Mahdi, to discuss and vote on a number of laws on its agenda, while Abdul Mahdi will hold a press conference to talk about the latest political, security, social and economic developments.

    The governor of Kirkuk, the former wanted for the judiciary, Najmuddin Karim, said Tuesday that he is ready to appear before any fair court, whether in Baghdad or Erbil, adding that there should be a serious dialogue between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government to resolve the problem Kirkuk and the disputed areas.
    Karim said in a press statement about his recent visit to Lebanon and the correctness of his detention there. "I entered Lebanon without any problem, but when I went out with the investigations, there was a request from Baghdad to return me on charges that I put my hands on cars. To the Lebanese authorities and the Lebanese judiciary, and explained to them that the subject is political and there is no subject to put a hand on cars or embezzlement, studied the subject and briefed on the documents that we submitted and reached the conviction that the subject is political, and that is why we are today in Kurdistan and Erbil.

    He added that "normalization of the status of Kirkuk of the most important points that must be focused on, there must be a serious dialogue between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government to resolve the problem of Kirkuk and the disputed areas, while the other armed forces present there have duties outside the areas of Kirkuk, Elements of the call, whether in Hawija or Riyadh or other areas. " 
    "We have full confidence in ourselves and acquitted ourselves of all these charges and are prepared to appear before any fair court, either in Baghdad or in Erbil, and we will respond to all these charges with documents and witnesses," the former governor of Kirkuk said. .
