The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) announced on Sunday that the share of Kurds from special grades and positions in the state will be reduced by 400 posts, indicating that 100 of them will be from the national union.
The leader of the Union Ghayath al-Surji for the information, "The negotiations between the political blocs with the government resolved the share of each component and a political bloc of special grades and positions by proxy."
He added that "the share of the Kurds will be about 400 positions at the level of Director General and adviser and deputy minister and the head of the body and other positions," pointing out that "preliminary dialogues between the Kurds indicate that the share of the National Union of about 100 positions."
He added that "the blocs are in the process of submitting the names of candidates for those positions in preparation for submission by Abdul Mahdi to the parliament to vote it.
