According to the provincial government statement, Qubad Talabani, during the meeting, highlighted the outstanding problems between the Kurdistan region and Baghdad, stressing the need to speed up the treatment of these outstanding problems, especially with regard to the oil and budget.
On the situation in Kirkuk, Talabani stressed "the normalization of the situation in the province of Kirkuk, and the continuation of the implementation of Article 140 constitutional, and work all parties to promote coexistence and harmony."
Talabani said "the vision of the nation's leader, Mam Jalal, on how to deal with the file of Kirkuk and described the difficult surgical operation, which must work with precision and promote the spirit of tolerance and harmony in the city."
He stressed "the need for the continuation of the next government in the reform project, especially the reorganization of the banking system in the Kurdistan region and the continuing reform in the Ministry of Peshmerga."
