The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced the intention to increase the salaries of employees at lower levels by the Federal Civil Service Law.

"The Civil Service Law does not discriminate against the salaries or allowances of any one, and we have provided materials that keep the salaries of employees in all departments of the state and the establishment of materials to raise the minimum salaries and not reduce the high salaries and any fear of the law is not true," said the head of the committee Haitham Jubouri.

The law states: "The provisions of this law shall apply to all employees of the State, except in respect of the additional allowances granted under special resolutions and laws."
