The Investment Authority outlines the limits of an investment project in the vicinity of Baghdad airport

Shafaq News / The Investment Authority issued a clarification on the land allocated for the investment project within the area surrounding Baghdad International Airport.
The project will be implemented on state-owned land exclusively within the presidential palaces and military sites (according to the attached plan indicating the project's location and limits) and does not have any property rights, agricultural rights or agricultural contracts for citizens, it said in a statement.
She pointed out that in the light of the Cabinet Resolution No. 175 of 2019, a joint technical legal committee was established with the owner of these sites (state real estate) to fix the boundaries of this project in order not to interfere between the land allocated for investment and the lands and rights of citizens close to the airport. (11/7) and part of the land plot numbered (13) of the area specified by the decision of the Council of Ministers. The lands belonging to the citizens were excluded. .
She also instructed the above committee to receive applications from citizens who have title deeds, agricultural contracts or the rights of their land on these lands to be considered according to the law.
