The parliamentary planning committee revealed on Monday the existence of a plan to exploit the surplus of funds from the federal budget for 2019 to pay off the external debt of the government and the appointment of the families of martyrs and wounded.
"The planning committee plans, in cooperation with the Parliamentary Finance Committee, to exploit the surplus of the federal budget funds for 2019 to pay the debts incurred by the government, as well as the classification of other sections to appoint the families of the martyrs and the wounded from the security forces," said member of the committee Mohamed Baldawi, , Pointing out that "it is subject to reporting on the financial surplus by the Ministry of Finance to the House of Representatives."
He added that "the Ministry of Finance did not provide the House of Representatives with such reports so far despite the demand to address the unemployment crisis," noting that "the surplus will achieve the appointment of some of the graduates of the martyrs in honor of the blood of their relatives."
