Security expert Muayed al-Ali warned on Monday of the presence of some Baathists in the western regions within the security services, pointing out that these people are working to provide information about the security units and popular mobilization to US forces.
Al-Ali said in a press statement that "Mundisin and Baathists spying on the security forces and popular mobilization for the benefit of US forces in order to detect plans and movements and targeting these pieces."
He added that "the western areas where there are many of the alleys of the Baathist regime buried and some of them threw himself inside the security services, and worked on the detection of plans and movements, which needs to be reviewed by the commander-in-chief of the armed forces for the purpose of auditing the files of appointment, especially that there are many positions that Are sold and bought between them. "
"The process of detecting spies within the security services requires intensive intelligence effort by assigning popular mobilization in the western regions to reach collaborators with US forces," he said.
