PARLIAMENTARY HEALTH IS MOVING TO ENACT THE HEALTH INSURANCE LAW IN THE COUNTRY

The parliamentary health said it is working on legal legislation for health insurance and fixing the prices of clinics and private hospitals for all citizens, and indicated the existence of a response from the Minister in many matters.
A member of the Health and Environment Committee MP Abdel Aoun Al-Abadi, the National Expert Center (NNC), said that his committee "is working on legal legislation for health insurance and price fixing clinics for private doctors and hospitals."
He added that "there are a number of laws in the Committee has not been completed from the previous sessions, including the law of health insurance," noting that "the law of health insurance works in most of the world."
He also pointed out that "the law will provide health service to citizens in return for symbolic fees committed by the state," pointing out that "the application of the law in health institutions need four years and apply in three stages."
"The committee is continuing to prepare the law through the continuous meeting with the minister and the advanced resources," he said. "There is a response from the minister in many matters, most important of which is the import of cancer drugs."
He explained during his speech that "the committee is working on a project to determine the pricing of private clinics for doctors and private hospitals and the operations and standardization of the price of medicines, where he stressed the existence of the insistence of members of the Committee to approve this project."
