Baghdad Municipality announced on Thursday that the Ministry of Finance has not approved the launch of the degrees of deletion and development to install contracts, expected to be launched next year.
"The secretariat of Baghdad has more than 2,000 employees, some of whom have been in existence for more than 10 years," spokesman Hakim Abdul-Zahra told Al-Maalouma.
He added that "the secretariat currently has about 500 degrees of functional deletion and development of retirees and deceased have been submitted to the Ministry of Finance for the launch."
He explained that "the Ministry of Finance did not agree to launch during the current year," and expected to "launch during the next year."
He added that "the priority will be to stabilize contracts according to the years of service and conditions set for the time of differentiation between them."
