Member of the call reveals the competition "lobbies" to influence the vote in the General Conference

[rtl]Shafaq News / A member of the Dawa Party, one of the attendees at the conference hosted by Karbala, revealed the competition of "Lubyat" to influence the vote in the conference to elect the party secretary general.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Middle East quoted the member as saying that the context is the nomination of a single list of the Shura Council selected by members of the General Conference.[/rtl]
[rtl]The member, who preferred not to mention his name, pointed to "the existence of different wings and blocs within the party, sometimes expressed in the first list and the second, and so on."[/rtl]
[rtl]He denied rumors that "three lobbies competed to influence the vote of the party conference, a group of preachers of the Maliki, the Karbala Forum of the former leadership, and the former preachers, It was weak. "[/rtl]
[rtl]He stressed that "the absence of radical changes in this conference only in narrow limits, and that things have been conducted as they have been in the last two previous conferences."[/rtl]
[rtl]The Iraqi Islamic Dawa Party renewed its confidence in its leader, former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, and chose him as secretary-general of the party at its 17th general conference in Karbala province.[/rtl]
[rtl]Maliki received a majority of about 340 votes from the number of members of the General Secretariat of the party present, about 400 callers, including only 12 women.[/rtl]
[rtl]Maliki served as the general secretariat of the party after becoming prime minister in 2006, and the party had not before that date to choose a secretary-general, and was limited to a collective leadership of about 11 members.[/rtl]
[rtl]Some tendencies close to the Dawa Party tend to believe that "Maliki's re-election as Secretary-General represents a coup against the agreement between him and the leaders of the call not to nominate the leadership of the previous call. It is also a victory for the axis close to Iran within the party, Haider al-Abadi, Halim Zuhairi and others. "[/rtl]
