Expert: Banks are required not to force retirees to change their payment cards
(Independent) .. Student economic specialist Mohammed Rikabi banks not to pressure the retirees to replace their card with another, especially that the General Pension Authority confirmed the continuation of the work card card card and need not change after the approval of the Central Bank to continue to adopt a card card.
He was surprised by the insistence of some banks on the approach of replacement, which led to the death of two retirees because of stampede after forcing the retired bank to replace and move towards the cards.
He pointed out the importance of granting the retiree full freedom in choosing the card that best suits his ambition, wondering why some insist on heading towards cards issued by foreign companies, and what is the point of that?
