    The US Energy Information Administration said US crude inventories fell last week, although refineries cut production, while gasoline inventories fell and distillate stocks rose.
     Crude stocks jumped 10.8 million barrels in the week ending July 19, compared with analysts' forecasts of a 4 million barrel drop.
     The Energy Information Administration said crude stocks at the delivery center in Kashing, Oklahoma fell by 429,000 barrels.
     Crude oil consumption fell by 233,000 bpd, according to data from the US Energy Information Administration. Refinery operating rates fell 1.3 percentage points.
     Gasoline inventories fell 226,000 barrels, compared with a Reuters forecast of 730,000 barrels.
     Data from the Energy Information Administration showed distillate stocks, including diesel and heating oil, rose 613,000 barrels versus expectations of a 499,000 barrel increase.
     US crude oil imports last week fell 562,000 bpd.
