Iraqi Journalists' Union leader Muayyad al-Lami on Sunday called for the cancellation of vacations and permits to sell them. Describing the vacations as "given to unregulated traders and occupations."

"I call on Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and Interior Minister Yasin al-Yasiri to immediately cancel the arms licenses, which are given to millions of traders and killers, which are uncontrolled and give their holders two months to obtain approvals for those who deserve them," Lami said in a tweet.

"The approval was in the thousands of dollars." And also called for the abolition of arms sales permits. "
