He pointed out that "the submission of a technical, financial and legal report by the Ministry of Construction and Housing confirms the eligibility of the company, where the report was raised twice to the Prime Minister's Office in 2016 and 2017," noting that "funding is not a loan but for credit financing in which the Iraqi government has significant financial consequences "He said.
Awad said, "On 25/7/2017, the Council of Ministers issued a decision to refer the work to the British company under Resolution 239 of 2017," noting that "the Ministry of Municipalities rejected the decision of the Council of Ministers, despite confirmation of previous reports confirming the failure of a company.
"There are parties still insisting on completing the referral procedures," Awwad said
