    The arrival of this new convoy of weapons and military equipment coincides with an unprecedented Turkish military build-up on the Syrian border, and a few days after the arrival of a similar US convoy of weapons to the city of Qamishli.

    The US military on Saturday drove a new shipment of weapons loaded with more than 200 trucks carrying Erbil plates to Syrian territory. 
    The Russian news agency Sputnik quoted informed Kurdish sources in the city of Qamishli as saying, "The shipment of weapons entered the Syrian territory through the Simalka crossing towards areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces in northeastern Syria." 
    The sources pointed out, "the entry of more than 200 trucks carrying plates of Arbil, loaded with weapons and military equipment and logistics, provided by the International Coalition Forces for the Syrian Democratic Forces northeast of Syria."
