Parliament Speaker Khadija Ali announced on Saturday the return of parliamentary sessions on September 3 and the start of a new legislative term.
"The legislative recess of the House of Representatives is scheduled to begin on the third of July, but the Council extended its term expired for a month," Ali said.
She added that "the legislative holiday ends on the third of next September and the Council reconvenes for the new legislative term."
"The presidency will call for the convening of the council in the absence of anything new on the third of September next."
The Presidency of the Parliament announced, on the third of August, the adjournment of the House of Representatives to another notice
