    The Interior Ministry's Inspector General's Detachment of Crime Operations arrested on Monday a lieutenant colonel who served as a district commander in Baghdad and six other associates for allegedly exploiting them. 
    "The operation came against the backdrop of an arrest warrant issued by the competent investigating judge against the categorical commander and six other associates and the fact that the inspector general's office represents one of the judicial authorities," the inspectorate said in a statement received.
    She added, "Inspector General Jamal al-Asadi has ordered his own detachment to implement the memorandum and the arrest of the accused and placed them in detention with the competent authorities." 
    It is noteworthy that the arrest warrant has been issued by the investigating judge competent against the commander of the boycott of the rescue and six other associates on the back of their involvement in corruption cases related to career exploitation.
