The State of Law Coalition bloc revealed the most salient points of contention over the draft [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/19056/%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%88%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%A9]federal court bill[/url] .
MP Adnan al-Asadi said in a press statement that «the biggest problem that hindered the legislation of many important laws and fateful decisions is the consensus, which was the cause of many failures», stressing that «the law of the Federal Court was one of the victims of consensus».
He added that «the law completed its second reading, but some points of controversy prevented him to vote until the moment, among them is the desire of the Kurds to be unanimous vote in the court and that each member voted Veto and disrupt the vote, which in our opinion will cripple the work of the court offset by another view to be Voting by half + one », indicating that« the other problem in the number and quality of scholars and who they are and the nature of their work within the court.

The Vice-Chairman of the Committee Mohammed al-Ghazi that «the most important points of controversy in the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/19056/%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%88%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%A9]law of the Federal Court[/url] is the subject of voting and the voting mechanism and opinions of scholars, whether it be advisory or mandatory, pointing to the disruption of the legislation of this law since the first sessions for political reasons.
He added that «discussed the law of the Federal Court more than once, in addition to listening to the views of political blocs and observations and proposals, and will hold new meetings in the Legal Committee to finalize this law, noting that« this law includes a lot of paragraphs taking into account the observations of the Federal Court And the Judicial Council.
