Parliamentary Finance Committee announced on Thursday that the government has decided to give 10% of the money smuggled by the former regime who shows them, saying they are registered under fictitious names.
Said committee member Najiba Najib said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives began in 2012 Fund Act to recover Iraqi money under the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all concerned parties to search for smuggled money and property of the former regime and his cohorts abroad and Erdjaaha to the state treasury. "
Najib added that "money smuggled and properties of the former regime and his gang, mostly recorded in the names of fictitious and unknown, the government can not know, because this government has decided to grant 10% of the money contraband found a detective or where."
The National Commission for Accountability and Justice in Iraq announced that, in the (April 23, 2014), it is estimated that the value of the property of the former regime of Saddam Hussein outside the country in the Arab and Western countries by about eight billion dollars, mostly buildings and villas and pieces of land housing, as pointed out that the property in Paris and London , Lebanon, Tunisia and other countries and are currently working in accordance with the legal procedures for retrieval to the ownership of the Iraqi state.
