    BAGHDAD - 
    The Ministry of Oil announced on Sunday, the total exports and revenues achieved for the month of August, according to preliminary statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company "SOMO". 
    A spokesman for the ministry, Assem Jihad, said in a statement received by Mawazine News that the total quantities of crude oil exported for the month of August from oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 107 million and 520 thousand and 44 barrels. As for the Kirkuk fields through Ceyhan port, the exported quantities amounted to (3) million and (253) thousand and (665) barrels, while the quantities exported from Qayyarah field were (928) thousand and (963) barrels. 3) thousand and (479) barrels. "
    He pointed out that "the total daily rate of exports reached (3) million and (603) thousand barrels, where the daily rate of export from the ports of Basra (3) million and (468) thousand barrels, and from Ceyhan was the daily rate (105) thousand barrels, The daily rate from the field of Qayyara (30) thousand barrels and the daily rate exported to Jordan amounted to (0.112) barrels. 
    "The average price per barrel was (56,770) dollars," Jihad said. 
    The ministry, through its belief in informing the public about the export operations and the revenues derived from it, took this monthly action.
