MP Jassem Mohan al-Bukhati confirmed on Monday, the arrival of political blocs to a dead end by choosing candidates for the post of Minister of Education, in a proposal to Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.
Al-Bukhati said, "It is necessary to expedite the selection of a professional figure from the womb of the Ministry of Education to develop this site as the ministry suffers from interlocking problems related to management and curriculum and questions and manipulation."
He added: "Therefore, I propose to the Prime Minister to choose an efficient minister to be voted on after the political blocs reached a dead end in the selection of candidates to pass the ministry."
MP Mohammad Reza Al Haider al-Husseini stressed that "the female candidates for the Ministry of Education were not up to the required level, as well as the political conflicts related to the passage of this cabinet, so we hope that this will be resolved during the next legislative term as well."
