Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee announced on Wednesday that there is a parliamentary consensus within the committee to pass a bill to grant the wounded army a full salary in the event of a request for retirement and included in the 2020 budget.
Committee member Abbas Sarrout told Al-Maaloumeh that the Ministry of Defense submitted a bill proposal to give the wounded army a full salary in case they applied for retirement.
He added that "the proposal includes the inclusion of all the privileges enjoyed in the event of his presence in the military corps or to retire," noting that "included the choice between retirement or choose to close to his home."
He added that "there is a parliamentary consensus within the committee and worked to pass the law and include it in the budget of 2020 to enter into work for those wishing to retire from the wounded of the army."
