Rep. Reform Welfare MP Khadr announced on Thursday a law proposal to increase the welfare salaries to 400,000 dinars and submit it during the next Sharia law.
"There are many complaints received by the beneficiaries of social welfare salaries about the lack of allocations and the number of beneficiaries," Khodr told Al-Maalouma.
She added that "the draft law has been adopted to increase the wages of social welfare to 400 thousand dinars for beneficiaries," noting that "the bill will be discussed with specialists and graduated legally and submitted to the Presidency of the Parliament for the purpose of inclusion in the agenda of the sessions during the next legislative term."
She stressed that "there are moves and endeavors to increase the funds allocated to the Ministry of Labor within the 2020 budget to expand and include the largest amount of those entitled to welfare salaries and loans for the unemployed."
