[size=45]The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in Iraq, Bassem Abdul Zaman, directed the directors of the administrative and financial department and the Department of Retirement and Social Security for workers in the ministry to participate in the meeting of the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers on explaining Cabinet Decisions No. 12 and 105 of 2019 on the conversion of daily wage workers to (contracts) and covered by the provisions of labor law Pension and social security for workers.
The ministry confirmed that "the meeting included the confirmation of the ministry's opinion on the importance of implementing the vocabulary of labor, retirement and social security during the organization of contracts between the ministry and the employee."
The ministry added that the meeting also stressed the Ministry of Finance on securing the necessary allocations, and the contractor enjoyed the same privileges of permanent employee and withholding arrests in accordance with the law of security, and other recommendations aimed at guaranteeing the rights and determine the duties of the wages.
