Al-Maksousi: A proposal to amend Law 59 on the operation of higher degree holders

Member of the House of Representatives Inas Naji Al-Maksousi said that she submitted a proposal to amend this law and talk with the Finance Committee to put a paragraph in the budget concerning the holders of higher degrees and set standards to allocate job grades for them by engaging them in the rest of the ministries, and raise the proportion of their appointment from 15 percent to 30 percent.
Al-Maksousi added that "the matter is still under discussion", expressing "hope that the owners of higher diplomas in the budget next year."
The law requires all ministries to allocate 15% of the job grades or the degrees of deletion and development to appoint holders of higher degrees and in the absence of this slide for appointment revolve to hold a lower certificate.
