BAGHDAD -
The Secretary-General of the Islamic Dawa Party, Nuri al-Maliki, on Tuesday, the anniversary of Ashura to close ranks, unite the word and positions, leaving the fractions of difference.
Maliki said in a statement received / Mawazine News / a copy of it that "the revolution of Imam Hussein was and still is a revolution of reform at all times and places, and we are all today invited to follow this reform approach that Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and to be a method for all reformers wherever there is a defect or Deviation from the principles and rights guaranteed by God Almighty to man to ensure his right to live free decent and win the good of the world and the Hereafter. "
He added: "Today we are living a tragic memory of Karbala, we call on everyone to take inspiration from the great revolution and to be a starting point in confronting the resistance of despotism and deviation, and to mobilize all energies to meet the challenges facing Iraq."
He stressed that "the day of Ashura and the heroic positions of jihad sacrifice calls on all believers and free to unite their ranks and unite their word and positions and leave the parts of difference because the reality in which the front Hussein and Jabhat Yazid used to us with new clothes and ideas and malice and cunning new, and let the supporters of Hussein p that the battle continues and did not stop So the blood over the sword triumphs in every field where the line of martyrdom and the line of treachery and crime are wrestled. "
Al-Maliki concluded: "Recalling the timeless epic of Tuff, we stand today to honor the martyrs of our armed forces and the people of the Popular Mobilization who sacrificed themselves in defense of the homeland to cleanse it of desecration of terrorist gangs."
