Source: Saudi Aramco to postpone light crude oil shipments to PetroChina in October
Economy News _ Baghdad
Saudi Aramco notified PetroChina on Tuesday that its October light crude oil loads would be delayed for about 10 days, a senior Chinese government source in the oil sector said.
But the source said the Saudi state oil company would still supply the same grades and quantities of light crude required for October allocations.
The state-run refining company was also told that September loadings of light crude shipments would be replaced by heavier grades, with no change in quantities or delays, the source said.
The source said that the dates of loading and quantities for "September shipments (September) is too imminent to modify, as Aramco may still assess the damage to its facilities."
