The parliamentary legal committee confirmed on Wednesday, the Council of Representatives continue to lift the immunity from the deputies who were named by the Iraqi judiciary.
The Deputy Chairman of the Committee Mohammed al-Ghazi in a statement to the information, that "there were requests from the judiciary and the prosecution to lift immunity from deputies who had previously had executive positions," noting that "the rules of procedure of the Council in addition to the law obliged the need to lift immunity each Anyone named on corruption or other charges. ”
