discussed the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, on Thursday, with his Czech counterpart Wojtek Philippe to discuss strengthening partnership and investment to improve electrical power networks and communications.
"Al-Kaabi received today his Czech counterpart Wojtek Philippe to activate bilateral relations, especially economic ones, friendship committees and the implementation of the memorandums of understanding," said a statement from his media office.
Kaabi said, according to the statement, "Iraq has great investment opportunities and distinct and unprecedented in Baghdad and the provinces," noting that "the security situation in the country is witnessing great stability, which provides a fertile environment for investment and enhance the resources of the economy."
Al-Kaabi said, "Iraq today is facing the challenge of reconstruction and reconstruction and taking its central position in the regional ocean, the Middle East and the world," calling on his Czech counterpart and business owners and businessmen in Prague "to visit Iraq and increase their presence and effectiveness towards strengthening partnership and investment, especially the improvement of power grids Communications, rehabilitation and establishment of health and industrial institutions. "
For his part, Philip praised "the great victories against ISIS," expressing his "happiness to see a strong Iraq confidently and ably leading steady, balanced and courageous initiatives and positions at the level of its neighboring countries, the region and the world."
