The Al-Fateh alliance led by Hadi al-Amiri said on Friday that threats by Sadr's leader Muqtada al-Sadr and his alliance to withdraw confidence in the Mahdi government or to bring it down "aggravate the situation."
"The threats of Sadr, as well as the coalition of others, to withdraw confidence from the current government or topple it, aggravate the situation and put pressure on the government, especially that Sadr and his alliance are "They are part of the government.
"The Fatah Alliance does not know the objectives of these threats," he said. "It may be a new cookbook towards the government, an attempt to get other positions, or it is sincere intentions to push the government to provide services and achieve the government program."
He warned that "the return of the demonstrations will harm the work of the government, and even the House of Representatives, and perhaps this pressure may lead to the resignation of Abdul Mahdi," saying, "But the most important question remains: Where are we going in Iraq and the Iraqis?"
