      BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The head of parliament, Mohammed al-Halbousi, on Saturday set up an investigation committee on electricity contracts since 2006 until now.[/size]
     
    [rtl]“We direct the formation of a committee to investigate the contracts concluded by the Ministry of Electricity from 2006 till now,” the chairman of the council said today.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The House of Representatives voted on Saturday on Iraq's accession to Maternity Protection Convention No. 183 of 2000.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]A statement issued by the Council that "the House of Representatives voted on the draft law ratifying the protocol of 2014 supplementing the Convention on Forced Labor No. 29 of 1930."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The House of Representatives also voted on a bill to ratify the Convention on the Exemption of Holders of Diplomatic Passports and Official Service from the Entry Visa between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Council also voted on the draft law on Iraq's accession to the UNESCO Convention for the Protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The head of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbousi, the Committee on Security and Defense Parliament to host security authorities on the bombing of the province of Karbala.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]A statement issued by the House of Representatives received a copy of it (NAS) a copy of it today (September 21, 2019) that “the Speaker of the House of Representatives directs the Committee on Security and Defense Parliamentary to host the relevant security authorities tomorrow on the file of recent security breaches, and the Commission to submit its report in the meeting on Monday as a first paragraph On the agenda. ”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Halbousi condemned on Saturday, the bombing in the city of Karbala at one of its entrances, which resulted in a number of victims.[/rtl]
