Turkey launches comprehensive economic plan under the slogan "Change has begun"

Turkish Finance and Treasury Minister Berat Albayrak unveiled the features of the new roadmap for the economic program to be achieved until 2022, under the slogan "Change has begun."
Al-Bairaq said in a press conference on Monday that his plan targets 12% inflation annually by the end of this year.
He added that inflation targets for the next three years will be 8.5% for 2020, 6% for 2021 and 4.9% for 2022.

In terms of GDP, the Turkish minister said the plan targets a growth rate of 0.5% in 2019 and 5% in each of the following three years.
As for unemployment, the Turkish government plans to reduce it by 2022 to 9.8% from 12.9% expected in 2019.
