US forces carried out an air strike in northern Syria, destroying a warehouse of ammunition and military equipment abandoned in conjunction with the withdrawal of US military from northern Syria.
"Two F-15E fighter jets bombed the Lafarge cement factory after all coalition forces left," said US military spokesman Colonel Mehlis Kajins.
The US House of Representatives on Wednesday adopted a bill condemning President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw US troops from northern Syria.
Democratic and Republican House members approved the resolution by 354 votes to 60.
The US president decided to withdraw his forces from northern Syria, last week, before Turkey begins a military operation against the "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) there.
Ankara said the military operation, dubbed the "spring of peace", was aimed at removing SDF forces from their positions in northeastern Syria.
