confirmed the Turkish ambassador in Iraq, Fatih Yildiz, Monday that his country investment companies from all sectors operating in Iraq.
"We have companies from all sectors of Turkey in Iraq and there are more than 3,000 products sold in the Iraqi markets," Yildiz said in an interview with a Kurdish media seen by Mawazine News.
"The volume of trade exchange between Turkey and Iraq exceeded 13 billion dollars last year and we expect to increase this year," he added.
He pointed out that "Turkey is waiting to overcome some of the trade obstacles, including customs tariff in Iraq, and we were able at the beginning of this year to overcome that obstacle."
He pointed out that "there are still obstacles, including the increase in tariffs since May, which will affect the trade relations between Iraq and Turkey."
