Major General Abdul-Karim Khalaf, spokesman for the Office of the Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, said on Thursday that demonstrators can not be allowed to storm the Central Bank.
Khalaf said in an interview carried by Russia today, that "there is no relationship between the attacking the central bank from some quarters and the demands of the demonstrators in the country, stressing that these acts are rejected in all the world."
According to him, the martyrdom of some of the demonstrators during the days of protests in the country, was by soldiers, stressing that "others were martyred by the unknown and that this file before the judiciary."
It is likely that the reason for the landing of forces carrying weapons on the streets is because the security forces are not ready for large demonstrations, stressing that tear gas bombs used against the demonstrators "allowed and used in many countries."
