    A diplomatic source in Kuwait, the withdrawal of members of the diplomatic mission from the Kuwaiti consulate in Basra, given the developments in the situation adjacent to Kuwait.

    KUWAIT CITY: A Kuwaiti diplomatic source said yesterday that members of the diplomatic mission at the Kuwaiti consulate in Basra have been withdrawn due to developments in the southern Iraqi province.

    The newspaper "Al-Rai" on its Kuwaiti website, the source as saying that the consul and members of the consulate will arrive at the port of Abdali today.
