    Opposition Wisdom Movement MP Jassem al-Bukhati said on Friday that the file of reducing the number of members of the House of Representatives is still before the Constitution Amendment Committee for consideration and consultation with specialists in this regard, pointing out that the general trend towards reducing the number of members of parliament by 30% of the total number in the coming sessions .
    Bukhati said in a statement to the information, that "there is an intention within the parliament to reduce the number of members of the House of Representatives by about one-third, which is 30% of the total number of deputies in the coming sessions."
    He added that "the file of reducing the number of deputies in parliament is still on the table of the Constitution Amendment Committee, which will work to correct the path based on the competencies and expertise they need in this regard to make the right decisions."
    He pointed out that "there are preliminary agreements by the political blocs and a number of organizations and professors of universities and legal experts competent in the Constitution to involve them in this committee in order to take the right decisions." Finished 25 N
