Al-Fateh MP Ahmed al-Asadi said on Tuesday that the amendment of the election law has become an urgent necessity for reforms, pointing out that the United Nations will be present in the amendment of the law.
Al-Asadi said in a press conference attended by (information), that "the amendment of the election law has become an urgent necessity to carry out reforms and must work to create an electoral commission away from the parties."
He added that "the new law has been reduced the age of candidacy in the election law to 25 years, and will also involve the United Nations in the amendment of the election law of the House of Representatives."
He explained that "the Electoral Commission Act consists of three judges and an adviser from the State Council."
