Parliament votes on the first amendment to the pension law and announces 200 thousand jobs

The Iraqi Council of Representatives on Wednesday voted on the draft law amending the first unified retirement law No. 9 of 2014.
Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbousi said during the meeting today that the number of job grades for 2020 will be (202) thousand degrees and the number of job grades for 2021 will be (29) thousand degrees after the implementation of the unified retirement law voted on.
