Prime Minister [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] on Saturday held two telephone calls with the Emir of Kuwait and the Prime Minister of Kuwait.
A statement issued by Abdul-Mahdi's office received by Al-Maalouma said that the Prime Minister held two phone calls with the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled.
During the two talks, Abdul-Mahdi expressed "his wishes that the relations between the two countries and the two neighboring peoples will witness further cooperation, development and prosperity."
For their part, the Emir of Kuwait and the Kuwaiti Prime Minister expressed their hope for continued joint work and cooperation in all fields that serve the interests of the Iraqi and Kuwaiti peoples. Finished 25 N
