    BAGHDAD - The
    office of US Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday details the latter's visit to Iraq yesterday.
    "The US vice president arrived early yesterday morning at the Assad airbase, where he listened to a summary of the joint task force commander on Operation Torque," the office said in a statement received. A phone call with the Iraqi prime minister. "
    "Following that, the Vice President offered a Thanksgiving meal to US soldiers stationed at Assad Air Base and delivered a speech to them," the statement said.
