WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The dirty hand of US intelligence is behind the violence that has engulfed protests in Hong Kong and seeks to spread it throughout the autonomous Chinese city, US political analyst Stephen Lindman said.
"The Chinese Foreign Ministry statement criticized that what was happening in Hong Kong was masterminded by the CIA's dirty hands about the violence," Lindman said in an interview with Press TV.
"My fears and my concern is that the United States may go beyond fueling the violence," he said.
"China has repeatedly labeled the United States and Britain with other former colonial power in Hong Kong as the main provocators of the demonstrators through support statements," he said.
Yesterday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Li criticized the United States for its unilateral approach to world politics and its hostile stance towards Beijing. Finished / 25 z
