The Cabinet Secretariat General said in a statement received (Mawazine News) that "the Council of Ministers approved the distribution of land located within the design of the approved basis of cities on the slides covered by a plan prepared by each province and ratified by the Minister of Construction, Housing and Municipalities."
The statement added that "the text of the Cabinet decision stipulated the need to receive the plans of the provinces within ten days, and on the contrary is ratified at a price of 250 dinars per meter, and the formation of committees in each province, headed by the governor or the head of the administrative unit, and the municipality directorate and property manager in the municipality concerned for the purposes distribution".
He pointed out, "The Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works in coordination with the Ministry of Planning to include the project of surveying and sorting of residential land through the Ministry of Construction and Housing transfer of allocations for 2019."
This decision is an exception to the decision of the Council of Ministers (70 of 2019), which prohibits the distribution of land within the basic design of cities.
On the other hand, the Council of Ministers approved the acquisition of land for transgressors outside the boundaries of the basic designs of cities, in exchange for a financial allowance estimated by a committee formed under the law of sale and lease of state funds No. 21, 2013.
The decision, according to the statement, "to collect an amount of 5% of the allowance of the piece, and install the rest for 20 years, and in case of late payment, the Minister concerned or the head of the entity not linked to the Ministry or any of them authorized to approve either accept the payment of premiums or installments with late Installment or overdue installments with interest stipulated in the law of sale and lease of state funds.
He continued: "If the beneficiary is unable to pay the late installments, the property is sold in cash in accordance with the provisions of the said law, if it is not registered in the name of the owner, although it is registered in his name is sold in accordance with the provisions of the Land Registration Law as reserved."
