War: The judiciary will reject the appeal of the provincial councils on the parliament's decision to stop them

Harb said in a statement, "The vote of the dissolved Niue Provincial Council to dismiss Mansour al-Maraid is illegal, and this governor will remain in office."
He added that "Parliament worked yesterday to abolish article 44 of the Law [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/7983/%D9%85%D8%AC%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%B8%D8%A7%D8%AA]on Provincial[/url] Elections, which gives the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/7983/%D9%85%D8%AC%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%B8%D8%A7%D8%AA]provincial councils the[/url] authority to stay."

He explained that "the provincial councils can appeal to the judiciary, but they will not get anything from this appeal, because the article that supports their stay in power was canceled, and therefore that the councils will not return until after the elections."
