The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Party, on Wednesday, that the Kurdish blocs will not have a dispute on any candidate for prime minister on condition.
Union MP Pistone Zanganeh stressed the need for parliament to "play its part in standing with its constituents in naming a government that preserves the capabilities and history of the Iraqi people."
Zanganeh stressed, "the support of the Kurdish blocs for any candidate for the premiership submitted by the political blocs to be fair and just in its decisions because the country will not bear the constitutional vacuum."
And that, "the Kurdish blocs will not have a dispute on any candidate by the political blocs, provided that it works in accordance with the Constitution and the application of laws and not selectively in dealing with the region and that the distribution of ministerial portfolios according to political".
He pointed out, that "the Kurdish blocs will not impose its will and conviction on the other political blocs."
Zengneh pointed out that "the Kurdish blocs do not want to work in the way of quotas, but the stage needs greater awareness and that the government is chosen to rule the government."
He continued, "The Kurdish blocs discuss with the rest of the blocks the election law and strive to ensure fair and fair elections involving all Iraqis," noting that his bloc "does not have concerns about the election law, which is being discussed now, but there are many points that must stand before it as we had Controversial points in the previous election law, including how the distribution of parliamentary seats.
