The Committee on Culture, Tourism and Antiquities in the House of Representatives, on Thursday, the reasons for the decline in tourism revenues and the non-payment of debts leased facilities.
A statement of the Commission, received / Mawazine News / copy, that "the Committee on Culture, Tourism and Antiquities in the House of Representatives with the Director General of former tourist groups and former Director of tourist facilities reasons for the decline in tourism revenues over the past years and the non-payment of debts owed by tenants of tourist facilities in Iraq."
The statement added that "the Chairman and members of the Committee stressed during the hosting of former Director General of tourist groups Mahmoud Al-Zubaidi and Director-General of Tourism Facilities Mohsen Sakhan on the need to review the reality of tourism and ways to strengthen the financial revenues of the Authority."
He pointed out that "the meeting discussed the development of tourism reality according to the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (100) for the year 2019."
