"Heads of departments and divisions in the current commission were also exempted from their duties to give more assurance to this institution and to have clear independent action."
"This law is one of the important reform laws and will not be the last law. Now the political forces are meeting continuously to approve the election law of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and reassure the Iraqi people will not stand members of parliament in front of their interests and the interests of their parties and will prevail in the interest of the country and the citizen."
He added, "The members of the new election commission will be judges and will be chosen by lot," noting "the desire of most political forces to represent the system of the highest votes in the electoral districts and provinces."
He concluded by saying, "We need to discuss more and hear the concerned parties, whether domestic or international control and during the next week will see the vote on the election law of the House of Representatives," adding that "the new Council of Commissioners will begin its work once the law is ratified."
