{International: Al Furat News} The White House replied before the deadline for the invitation to defend President Donald Trump in the investigation of his isolation measures by denouncing the entire legal process as the “baseless”.
"As you know, your investigation is completely unfounded," White House attorney Pat Sibolony said in a letter to Democrat Gerold Nadler, head of the House Judicial Committee.
While Sibolloni never excluded the White House from participating in the process, the meaning was clear in saying that the Democrats "wasted enough of America's time in this charade."
Sibuloni sent the reply minutes before the deadline in front of the White House to announce whether he intended to send representatives to the Judicial Committee.
The commission is working on preparing an indictment, which will be voted on by the full council later this month.
While Democrats are likely to succeed in securing a majority to accuse Trump of allegations against him of abusing his authority by pressuring Ukraine to interfere in the 2020 presidential election, he is certain to be acquitted in the Republican-dominated Senate.
