The Committee stated in a statement today that the occurrence of these violations against the rights of Iraqi citizens bear the consequences of the international humanitarian law and put Iraq before international legal accountability as a member of the United Nations and a signer of all international agreements regarding protecting civilians and preserving the safety of the Iraqi people from any attack, killing or Assassination of the will that occurs against them.
For his part, Judge Jaafar al-Moussawi, a spokesman for the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, said, "The security services must disclose the source of the assault to the massacre of Al-Sank and Al-Khilani and bomb the Hanaa immediately, otherwise they are complicit or failing, and the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee must take the necessary measures against them."
Dozens of demonstrators were killed and injured by unidentified gunmen riding civilian wheels without numbers in the areas of Al-Sank and Al-Khilani in the center of the capital, Baghdad.
