, Representative Kazem Al-Sayadi sent a message to the demonstrators on Saturday, while calling on them not to call for canceling the agreement signed by the resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi with China.
Al-Sayyadi said in a statement received by / Mawazine News / a copy of it: "To the demonstrators, so that your first request will not be to cancel the agreement (Iraq and China), as it is the first step of building and reforming."
He added, "For those who are unaware of the abbreviated agreement, Iraq has signed 8 agreements with China with a value of 500 billion dollars for the reconstruction of Iraq in all its aspects, including construction of roads, infrastructure, reconstruction of energy, armament, etc."
He pointed out, "More importantly, this agreement is for reconstruction in exchange for oil (meaning between the brackets of Iraq, mere pays for mere money, which will increase oil production by 300,000 barrels per month in favor of China) and these agreements will rise in Iraq and return it to the flower path again."
